Our basic nature is open, radiant and responsive. We discover it within - through the practice of somatic meditation, and we discover it without - through the elements of the natural world and in relationship with others.

Through the somatic practices, we naturally become more relaxed and at ease, allowing us to experience what it means to be fully present and embodied. Through gentle self-inquiry & relational mindfulness, we are able to bring more clarity and compassion to ourselves and others. Through friendship with the natural world, we come to appreciate the interconnectivity of all beings and the sacredness of all life. Grounded in all three, we are able to engage our lives with more clarity, warmth and love. And in these turbulent and uncertain times, this is a great gift that each one of us can offer to the world.

Join me for a luxurious day in the Santa Barbara foothills, where we will have ample time and space for deep practice and inner nourishment, including somatic meditation, personal inquiry, group exploration and time spent together in the natural world. We will also look at ways to support our “home practice,” so that we can leave the retreat with helpful tools to live clearer, freer and more intentional lives.

Please bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion if you have one, writing materials, water bottle & whatever snacks you might need.
